EpdRstBuffer2(wColor As Word)
|
Parameter |
Description |
|
wColor |
Color to fill the buffer with: |
Black
= 0
White/Red/Yellow = 1
Fills buffer 2 with the selected color.
This is useful for putting the RAM/SRAM buffer into a known state right after power-on reset, or for resetting it to a defined state at any later point in your program.
Since the buffer stores one bit per pixel, each pixel is either 0 or 1 — what that bit actually means depends on which plane the buffer is eventually sent to: Black/White if it's headed to the driver IC's BW plane, or Red/Not Red if it's headed to the Red plane.
Buffer 2 is available only for Black-White-Red/Yellow panels.
Note: Red takes precedence over Black/White wherever both apply to the same pixel — so "Not Red" doesn't mean anything on its own, it simply means "let whatever's in the Black/White plane show through" for that pixel.
