The Positron8 BASIC compiler, formerly known as the Proton Compiler, was written with simplicity and flexibility in mind. Using BASIC, which is almost certainly the easiest programming language around, you can now produce extremely powerful applications for your PICmicro™ without having to learn the relative complexity of assembler, or wade through the gibberish that can be C and C++.
