Installed Include files
When the compiler is installed, several useful include files are also loaded in the directory: ‘C:\Users\User Name\PDS\Includes\’, where ‘User Name’ is the name given to the operating system’s user. These are:
• Include file: 'Constrain.inc' contains a set of constrain procedures, similar to Min and
Max procedures.
• Include file: 'DS1307.inc' contains a set of routines to access a DS1307 Real Time
Clock/Calendar via a software I2C bus.
• Include file: 'Hitachi_4.inc' contains a replacement routine for the Positron8 compiler's
Print command for an Hitachi alphanumeric LCD, using a 4-bit interface, so it can be seen how it works, and be altered if required.
| • | Include file: 'HLVD.inc' contains an HLVD peripheral library for suitable 8-bit devices. |
| • | Include file: 'LCD05.inc' contains an LCD05 I2C LCD library that replaces the compiler's |
library routines, so the commands Print, Print At, Cls, and Cursor can be used via I2C.
| • | Include file: 'Maths.inc' contains a set of Mathematic and Trigonomety procedures. |
| • | Include file: 'Median_Filters.inc' contains a set of Median filters based upon bubble sort. |
| • | Include file: 'Min_Max.inc' contains a set of Min and Max library procedures. These re- |
turn the minimum or maximum of two values passed to them.
• Include file: 'Oread_Owrite.inc' contains a replacement for the compiler's One-Wire
ORead and OWrite commands for the PIC18FxxK42 family of devices, so they can be seen how they work, and be altered if required.
• Include file: 'PCF8574.inc' contains a set of routines to interface with a PCF8574 or
PCF8574A device.
• Include file: 'Positron Int Manager.inc' is a high priority interrupt manager routine for
PIC18Fx7K42 devices.
• Include file: 'Rev.inc' contains a set of Rev library procedures. These return the reverse
of the value passed to them.
| • | Include file: 'Scale.inc' contains a set of Range conversion procedures. |
| • | Include file: 'Signed_Shift_Right.inc' contains procedures for signed integer shift right |
routines. These were created before the Positron8 had signed shift right as standard.
• Include file: 'Software_I2C.inc' contains software I2C writing and reading routines with
'dynamic' pins. The I2C routines use pins that can be changed at run time.
• Include file: 'Software_I2C_Fixed_Pins.inc' contains software I2C writing and reading
routines using fixed pins for the SDA and SCL lines.

ceive using a hardware high priority interrupt.
• Include file: 'WS2812B.inc' contains WS2812B RGB LED interface procedures.
